Have you considered something like a Ti-83 Silver Edition as a super rugged backup terminal OR for any of your outdoor nodes that need something more rugged, especially for an automated backup in a network crash.

Personally, I don't want to program it outside. Generally. That's where the phone is good for. But yeah that's a good idea
